Custom Lines vs Catalogue Items
You can type a custom line directly, or select an item from your central item catalogue. Selecting a catalogue item fills in the description and sale price, and stores the catalogue item ID against the line for future reporting.
Searching and Filtering the Catalogue
When selecting an item, you can search by name and filter by manufacturer and product type to find the right line quickly.
Editing After Selecting
After you add a catalogue item you can edit its description and price on the quote without changing the stored catalogue item. Each line can also store a private cost price, which is used for margin calculations and never shown to the customer.
Line Images
You can attach an image to an individual quote line. Images can be replaced or removed, and customers can open them in a lightbox on the public quote. Lines without an image simply show no picture.
